The Anglo-Venezuelan Society is a non-political, not-for-profit organisation founded in 1976 with the aim of promoting economic and cultural links between the UK and Venezuela. The Society has achieved this goal by becoming the UK’s specialist forum of informed discussion on Venezuelan issues. It organises a variety of events of a political, economic, social and cultural nature. In order to extend its reach, the Society has developed partnerships with UK Trade & Investment’s Oil & Gas Team for the Americas and the Caracas-based British-Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce.
